Just had a rather interesting read from two column writers from the ECB about #bitcoin. Besides kicking an enemy (bitcoin vs. CBDC) down at their lowest moment (peak bear market nov. 2022), they basically end the column with stating that "this inefficiency of the system is not a flaw but a feature. It is one of the peculiarities to guarantee the integrity of the completely decentralised system". I do think bitcoin needs to be as sustainable as possible, but this column really shows that the ECB obviously HATES decentralisation or is willing to see the positive side of bitcoin. They intentionally don't talk about Lightning for example. This column is another proof that KYC is dangerous and people should resist CBDC and anti-cash measures at alle cost.

Banks are raising the savings interest pretty fast now. At the same time we see that Banks are being challenged by bitcoin (and shitcoins) and tech (Apple, X, Wepay, etc). Also markets have been moving up bc the dollar is weak, not because the US Economy is doing well. #Bitcoin seems like a proper hedge at the moment...
